Alta Exports International was established January 1, 2000 by members of the Alta Genetics International Marketing Team. AEI was designed to market livestock, embryos, genetic and livestock production technologies and semen and farm equipment.

AEI’s network of purebred and commercial livestock producers extends across Canada and USA and to many countries that provide livestock husbandry/management and technological support as required.
Gary D. Smith, President
Mr. Smith has been involved in the livestock export business since 1984, has worked throughout Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Russia, Kazakhstan and Asia. Operates a large purebred beef ranch and has been involved as a judge of beef cattle in many international livestock exhibitions.
Kate Kolstad, Vice President
Ms. Kolstad has 20 years of experience in the bovine embryo field, livestock production and export business. She has managed large projects involving embryo transfer and production in cattle, sheep and goats.
